Film Financing

CCC has been active in the entertainment-lending field, providing finance to film producers. It has developed several innovative structures as a means of raising funds at virtually bargain rates bank loans for film producers. These structures vary from fairly standard, quite short term loan funding, but one requiring a participation bonus as part of the structure, to funding provided via access to a capital market normally reserved for those borrowing far more substantial sums. In both cases, the borrower can lock in the interest, or dividend rate, for the critical period.

CCC, or its associate parties involved, do not review scripts or interfere with the artistic aspect of the film projects. All participants in the financing, including CCC, are interested only in the movie's commercial viability.

Some specific information typically required for this type of application is

• Some background information - both full financial, as well as industry specific - regarding the principals behind the project.
• A complete production budget, detailing both above-the-line and below-the-line costs for the production.
• A production schedule.
• Details of signed talent. We are aware that it is often difficult to obtain a commitment from talent in the absence of a funding commitment. Hence, letters of intent from suitable talent could well be acceptable
• Details of the finalized arrangements for, or steps taken towards, the obtaining of a completion bond
